The 2022 baseball season ended in September, but that was just the start for Dinger. Dinger has been training rigorously at the Avengers Compound day and night in order to lead the 2023 River Cats into the final battle taking place October 2023! Dinger is aiming for the Infinity Gauntlet (a.k.a. the Triple-A Championship), and NOTHING will get in his way! Not even the Dark Avengers (boooooo)!
This new River Cats logo has been specifically designed for our team for the next installment of Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond series in 2023! Featuring a fierce, futuristic, out-of-this-world River Cat!
In 2022, the River Cats teamed up with Marvel to host an all-new action-packed theme night at Sutter Health Park, Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night! The River Cats wore custom-designed Iron Man jerseys that were autographed and auctioned off to benefit the River Cats Foundation. Fans also enjoyed character appearances by Iron Man and Spider-Man throughout the game.
The River Cats led us to victory that night over the Reno Aces (the 2022 PCL Championship- Infinity Gauntlet winners) 6-0!
Like any good Marvel movie, there will be a sequel on August 5, 2023!
Dinger and his long-lost cousin, Rocket, will continue to train at the Avengers Compound until April 4th, when they face the El Paso Chihuahuas at Sutter Health Park! But we need YOUR HELP!
