Reno, Nev. – Throughout the 2023 campaign, Tristin English’s approach at the plate produced a record-breaking season where the Georgia Tech product solidified himself as a pillar in the Reno Aces lineup at Greater Nevada Field, helping the club win a franchise-record 88 games.

The 26-year-old notched career bests in 11 offensive categories: at-bats (387), runs (74), hits (116), total bases (212), doubles (27), home runs (23), RBI (93), walks (52), batting average (.300), OBP (.390) and OPS (.938).

He began the season with Double-A Amarillo and joined the Aces roster on May 5th. In 84 games with the Aces, he tied for the club’s lead in home runs (17) with Kyle Lewis while finishing third in Arizona's system with 23 longballs.

Also, during his time in the Biggest Little City, he was one of three Aces players with multiple hitting streaks in over 10 games with Diego Castillo and Phillip Evans.

The Stockbridge, Georgia native continued to display slick fielding defense at first base and corner spots in the outfield, which included a 53-game errorless streak from mid-June until late September.

Since the season's end, he continued to hone his baseball skills while playing for Tigres del Licey of the Dominican Professional Baseball League. While in Santo Domingo, he was cheering on the Diamondbacks during their magical World Series run.

English has also been enjoying time away from the ballpark with a monumental moment when he got married in early December.

With Spring Training less than three months away, he looks to enjoy the holidays with family while working out and prepping for the upcoming season.

The Reno Aces are slated to open the 2024 season on the road in Las Vegas on Friday, March 29th. They will make their home debut at Greater Nevada Field on Tuesday, April 2nd, hosting the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, at 2:05 p.m. PDT.
